Aged Care Home Modifications
Small, practical changes that make a familiar home easier and safer to keep living in.
Staying at home for longer
Most homes on the Central Coast NSW were not built with mobility changes in mind. Steps, thresholds, bathrooms and high cupboards tend to be the first things that become difficult.
- Rails at entries, steps, hallways and in bathrooms
- Threshold and level changes made safer to cross
- Access ramps where the entry allows for one
- Storage brought within easier reach
- Door hardware and handles that are easier to operate
- Minor joinery changes that reduce bending and stretching
Working with families and care teams
We are happy to deal with family members, case managers, occupational therapists or care providers as well as the person living in the home. Where an assessment or scope has already been prepared, we review it, inspect the site where required and provide a written quotation.
Funding and service arrangements are confirmed by the customer or their provider before work begins. All work is subject to the approved scope, site conditions and the licences required for the work.
Completed aged care work
Photographs of completed modifications are added here as they become available.
