Grab Rails & Handrails
Well-placed rails are one of the simplest changes that make a home safer to move around day to day.
Rails installed where they are actually used
We install rails throughout homes on the Central Coast NSW, positioned around how the person moves through the space rather than to a standard layout.
- Grab rails in showers, over baths and beside toilets
- Handrails to internal and external steps and stairs
- Hallway and corridor rails for longer transfers
- Entry and porch rails at the front or rear door
- Rail replacements where existing fixings have failed

Fixings matter more than the rail
A rail is only as good as what it is fixed to. We check the substrate, wall framing, noggin positions and tile condition before quoting, and set out what can be installed and where. Where extra backing or framing is needed, that forms part of the scope.
Working from OT recommendations
Where an occupational therapist has recommended rail types, heights or positions, we work to those recommendations and raise anything on site that does not line up with them. Work is subject to the approved scope, site conditions and licensing requirements.
Completed rail installations
Photographs of completed rail work are added here as they become available.
